Antique Arts and Crafts Oak Burroughes & Watts 12ft table

Description

An antique solid English oak arts and crafts full size table manufactured by Burroughes & Watts of 19 Soho Square, London C.1910. The table features unique octagonal legs, Ebony mouldings, Walnut cushion cappings, gorgeous quarter-sawn grains throughout, steel block cushions and 2″ bolted welsh slate. It would have originally been commissioned for a large country house and designed by architects working in collaboration with Burroughes & Watts.  It is in an understated arts and crafts design, probably in the style of George Montague Ellwood.

This sympathetically restored table, comes with new cushion rubbers, the finest West of England 6811 wool cloth, hand stitched leathers and cotton bag nets. UK mainland ground floor delivery and installation is included.
