An extremely rare Antique Victorian mahogany Life pool combination scoreboard, complete with ball tray, stake box and penny shoots by John Roberts & Co of Swallow Street, London dating c.1897. This scoreboard is a fine example of a collectors piece, the company only offering this scoreboard 1895 to 1898. Any John Roberts piece, who was the greatest billiard player of his day, is exceedingly rare as it ranks among the most scarce makers of billiard tables and accessories. The scoreboard features Mother of Pearl inlays, marquetry stars and ivory buttons, and once fully restored would complete any billiard room.
