Antique Victorian Thurston oak 12ft table

Description

An antique Victorian full size snooker table manufactured by Thurston of 14 Catherine Street, Strand. The table is design no.5 and features tapering turned and fluted legs with carved scrolls on the frame. The table boasts gorgeous 1/4 sawn English Oak legs, frame and cushions, and the frame supports a 1 & 1/2″ Welsh Bolted Slate bed. The frame features Ebonised flutes, banding and moulding which came be taken back to natural oak if desired, or restored to contrast the honey colour.

The table will be fully refurbished with new cushion rubbers, pockets and new West of England 6811 wool cloth.
