Antique Edwardian Burroughes & Watts burr walnut 12ft table

Description

This very attractive and ornate full size snooker table is of Burroughes & Watts manufacture, circa 1900. The table is of burr walnut with heavy figuring throughout. The decorative leg design is copied around the lower sections of the beaded side and end rails of the underframe, and on the cushion panels which obscure the fixing bolts.

The table has been sympathetically restored with the playing surface upgraded to the current standards, incorporating steel block cushions to provide the best reaction possible from the British match grade cushion rubbers. The bed and cushions are covered with 6811 Tournament West of England billiards cloth, and the pockets are fitted with “All Games” brassed rails, nets and extra stout leathers.
