Victorian J Ashcroft & Co oak 12ft table

A stunning Victorian oak 12ft snooker table by J Ashcroft & Co of Victoria street, Liverpool. Standing on 8 turned legs and dating from the 1880s, this table boasts gorgeous honey grains thanks to its use of the finest cut of English Walnut. The frame features decorative mouldings, carved half sun knee panels and supports a 1  & 1/2″ thick bolted welsh slate.

Shown is a similar design from an Ashcrofts catalogue C.1900, all of their tables were made to a high standard and always fetaured the best veneers and carving on the legs, frame or cushions.

This fully refurbished table comes with new cushion rubbers, the finest West of England 6811 wool cloth, hand stitched leathers, cotton ring nets and all game pocket rails, or cotton bag nets. Groundfloor delivery and installation are also included to UK mainland.
